The antgobbler is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest III.

It is a stronger variant of the antnibbler with dark green fur.

Characteristics

Antgobblers are large, anteater-like monsters covered in spiky, dark grey-green fur with a pale green snout and red eyes. They have a long purple prehensile tongue, which they use to attack adventurers, as well as their sharp blue claws. After their long absence from the series, antgobblers made appearances in two spinoff games.
