Appearances
Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake
Twocus Pocus is the souped-up version of the Princess of Moonbrooke's Cock-A-Doodle-Doo. It costs 15 MP to activate and echoes all spells for free, save for Bounce, Cock-A-Doodle-Doo, Defizzle, Hocus Pocus, Insulatle, Kaclang, Reheal, Remidheal, Snub, Tingle, Zing, and Kazing.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined
Twocus Pocus is the let loose command of the Sage vocation, and allows most spells to echo for a handful of turns when used.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
Twocus Pocus can be used by any character that has the 'Sage's Scripture' (quest #117) item in their inventory. Similar to the duplic hat of older titles, this skill allows a magic user to cast a spell twice over and the MP cost is only calculated once.
However, each casting is considered to be a separate turn. In other words, the second Kazammle will deal 1.20% damage because the game calculates it as a combo'd move. This boon can be bolstered if all party members use the skill, dealing up to 8 times the damage in a single turn before tension, Channel Anger, or any other modifier apply.
NOTE: Magic Burst, Kerplunk, Kamikazee, Zing, Kazing, Fullheal, and Omniheal will not echo when used.
