Although most games in the Dragon Quest series star a human protagonist, the Slime MoriMori series is centered on a slime. Though they may be endearing, slimes are usually weak enemies. The reason for this is that, even more so than the Monsters games, the series is directed at young children. This particular slime, Rocket, is joined by his friends Hooly, Swotsy and his sister Bo to prevent some horrible catastrophe from happening in each entry of the series, usually involving tanks or (as in the third game) ships.
