Nectar is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a sweet-smelling substance extracted from flowers that is used as a crafting ingredient.

Nectar can be collected from the Bloomingdale region, the Snowberian Coast, and Mt. Ulbaruun, have a 15% chance of being found in Rank 4 blue treasure chests, or can be dropped by Pink sanguinis. It can also be received as a reward for repeating Quest #41: Style Gooru. One vial of nectar is required to complete Quest #60: That Makes Scents, along with a sprig of Narspicious and one Thinkincense. Nectar can be sold for 18 gold coins and is used in the following alchemy recipes:

Dragon Quest X[edit]

Nectar is used as an ingredient for crafting equipment and furniture, as well as alchemy to add a sleep effect to weapons. It can be purchased from a material store for 180 gold coins, picked up from sparkly spots, or dropped by various monsters, including Minidemons.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below[edit]

Nectar can be dropped by King slimes and Pink sanguinis or exchanged for 3 Mini medals on the Stonecloud. It can be sold for 6 gold coins and is used to create Slime earrings, the quick recipe for the Garter, and the classic recipe for the Bunny tail in the Alchemy Pot. Three vials of nectar are required to complete Quest #13: No Stone Unturned 1.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End[edit]

Nectar is used as an ingredient to improve various accessories. It can be dropped by Pink sanguinis and Bodkin bowyers.

Dragon Quest Treasures[edit]

Nectar can be foraged from flowers on the Patternoggin and the Wingswept Moors or received by sending a dispatch team to the Snouterhorn Area. It is used for cooking dishes at the canteen or for scouting monsters.
