The Skimpy nightie is a special piece of clothing from Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.
It can be equipped exclusively by Maribel Mayde and when worn, it gives her the chance of stunning a monster for one turn.
Characteristics[edit]
As its name states, the Skimpy nightie is a short and frilly pink nightgown with thin shoulder straps, decorated with flowers and lace on the front. When Maribel wears the nightgown, she also accessorizes it with a pair of pink pumps and golden bracelets on her wrists. It has the distinction of being the only piece of equipment in the original Sony PlayStation version that changes the wearer's appearance.

The Skimpy nightie has a defence bonus of +73 and a style bonus of +88. It can only be equipped by Maribel and it changes the appearance of her sprite/polygon model when equipped. When donned, Maribel has a 16.6% (1⁄6th) chance to stun any non-boss monster at the beginning of each turn. This chance to enthrall does not stack with the Luminary's 6.25% (1⁄16) chance.
It can be purchased from the the Haven's Casino for 500,000 tokens or can be chosen as a prize after defeating the Almighty. It can also be sold for 9,250 gold coins.
