'''Erdrick's helmet''' is a piece of legendary headgear that first appeared in the [[Erdrick Trilogy|original three titles]] of the series. It is made of blue metal with a knight's face guard bearing the emblem of the [[Ramia|legendary phoenix Herself]], horns that vary in color depending on the game, and a scarlet ponytail. In addition to it's incredible durability, the helmet also protects the wearer's mind from status ailments.<br />
It was originally only implied that Erdrick's Helmet was a reworking of [[Ortega's Helm]] before being confirmed in {{DQ3HD}}, under the name of the [[Auroral Helm]].<br />
