On naming conventions: Sounds pretty good to me. So the articles on the final bosses of ''Dragon Quest V'' and ''Dragon Quest VI'' would be listed under '''Mirudraas''' and '''Deathmore''' respectively? (Since their names were first localized in ''Dragon Warrior Monsters''.) Pages with all of the various names (monsters, items, characters, etc.) can be created (ie. a page for Herb, Medical Herb, and Medicinal Herb), but the main "Herb" page would have all of the info, and "Medical Herb" and "Medicinal Herb" would redirect to the "Herb" page, or the "Loto" and "Roto" pages would redirect to the "Erdrick" page, etc. Redirects are very easy to create, and by having redirects for all numerous names for the same thing, people will be able to go directly to the page they want, if they type something in the search box and hit the "Go" button.

== Notes ==
Though every picture and even the game sprite have a helmet, the equip menu in the game doesn't have a slot for a helmet.
The helmet worn in the sprite resembles the horned helmet given to [[Ortega]], the father of the Hero of [[Dragon Warrior III]], at the beginning of the game, which later becomes the The Helmet of Erdrick. It's possible to speculate that the hero of [[Dragon Warrior I]] is simply wearing the Helmet of Erdrick the entire game, as that is the only equipment the Hero of Dragon Warrior III keeps for himself, and would have presumably passed down to his descendants, and he would have no need to upgrade to another helmet, since no others would be stronger. Erdrick's Shield is unavailable for use in Dragon Warrior 1 however the shield that the Hero uses clearly has the crest of Erdrick on it.

A decedent of [[Erdrick]] who is a mix between both of his cousins, he is physically strong and can use a magic. In the Japanese version described the Prince of Cannock as a slacker, a drinker and an overall really fun guy, however in the American version the Prince of Cannock is not so much of a slacker as he is a studious young man immersed in his studies.

== Appearance ==

He is shorter then the [[Prince of Midenhall]], but taller then the [[Princess of Moonbrooke]]. In the Japaneses version of the game the Prince has orange hair and wears a green tunic with the Erdrick's crest on the chest and a pair of goggles on his head. In the American version of the game he is still wearing the odd goggles on his head, but his tunic has been replaced with a full suit of green armor.

The Prince of Cannock can equip a wide variety of weapons and armor though not as many as the Prince of Midenhall, but when you fight [[Hargon]], he should be wearing: [[Magic Armor]], the [[Sword of Thunder]], and [[The Shield of Strength]].

The castle is the starting point for chapter 2. Alena must return to the castle three times during her adventure. First after arriving at the Bazaar, a soldier will tell her to return to the castle. The king has had bad dreams and is unable to speak, so Alena sets off to find a cure. Once finding the cure, Alena must return to administer it to the king. Finally, after the [[Tournament of Endor|tournament]] in [[Endor]] is over, Alena returns to find the inhabitants of the castle have mysteriously disappeared. Alena and her companions head out to find out what happened to them.

===Chapter 5===
Later in the game, Santeem becomes the base for [[Balzack]] and his minions. Once Balzack is defeat by the hero's party, the monsters vacate and the treasure room becomes accessible. Finally after defeating the entire game, the inhabitants of the castle return.

The children of the village have been disappearing and the adults don't seem to know why. A man named Alex in the jail seems to have lost his memory and reverted back to a child. In search of the [[Zenithian]] equipment, the hero's party will travel to Izmit. Apparently there are still odd happenings going on, surrounding Pocos. His father's inn is getting a bad name because people keep having weird dreams when they stay there. When the hero's party stays in the inn, the Hero has a dream about [[Necrosaro|Saro]] and an elfin girl named [[Rosa]], after that things seem to go back to normal. Once Rosa is rescued, the hero can revisit Izmit. Then the people that stay at the inn are still having odd dreams in which the fall or Saro can be viewed..

Hero (Dragon Warrior VII)

The hero from [[Dragon Warrior VII]] is the son of [[Borkano]], a fisherman from the town of [[Fishbel]]. The hero grew up with his best friends [[Maribel]], daughter of the mayor of Fishbel, and [[Kiefer]] prince of nearby [[Estard]]. Estard is the only island in a vast world covered by ocean.

When the hero and Kiefer explore the nearby [[Ruins]], they discover [[shards]] that fit onto [[pedestals]] within the ruins. When they find and place all of the shards for a particular pedestal, a map of a foreign island is completed and they are magically transported to that land in the past. Once they are able to free the land, it reappears in the present world. Thus the hero, Kiefer and Maribel head off to find all of the shards and restore the world to its proper form, and to defeat [[Orgodemir]], the evil behind it all.

The king commands Ragnar and a group of soldiers to solve the mystery of the missing children. During his search, he is joined by a [[Healer]] named [[Healie]]. After solving the mystery, Ragnar sets out on a journey to find and protect the [[Hero (Dragon Warrior IV)|hero]].

In chapter 2 and chapter 3 he appears briefly. In chapter 2 he is in the Endor Shrine at night. In chapter 3 he is in the [[casino]] in Endor.

In chapter 5, he joins the hero's party after defeating [[Keeleon]] at his castle.

Terry is a talented swordsman, traveling the world to find more powerful weapons and to prove his strength. He is first met by the hero in the town of [[Arcbolt]] setting out to defeat the [[Battle Rex]] terrorizing the cave north of town. Terry is able to reach the monster first and defeat it in battle. Next he is met in the [[Ice Cave]] where the Sword of Ramias is found. Terry decides to leave the sword for the hero though, since it is all rusty. Finally Terry must be defeated in battle before the [[Zenithian Castle]] can reappear in the [[Dream World]]. Once [[Durran]], the boss imprisoning Zenithia is defeated, Terry will join the hero's party.

Terry initially goes on his quest to become more powerful, because he was unable to protect his older sister Milayou while growing up in Gandino. She was taken away when they were younger which prompted Terry to pursue his quest. Somewhere along the way, he lost sight of his true goal, because he doesn't even recognize Milayou as a member of the hero's party. Once Terry is defeated, he and Milayou are reunited and reconciled.

===Dragon Warrior Monsters===
As young children, Milayou is taken by [[Warubou]] to the kindom of [[GreatLog]]. A few moments later, [[Watabou]] appears and takes Terry to the kingdom of [[GreatTree]]. Terry only wants to find his sister, but the king of GreatTree, convinces him to become a monster tamer and win the [[Starry Night Tournament]]. By winning the tournament, the king states that Terry can be granted any wish he desires. Terry sets off to recruit monsters and win the Tournament. When Terry's monsters become powerful enough, the Tournament begins, and Terry's monsters fight the monsters of the champion from GreatLog, who happens to be Milayou. Once Terry wins the tournament, he and his sister are reunited.
