Boblers: regarding runes

The Zenithian Equipment (天空の装備, 伝説の武具) is a set of crucial items in Dragon Quest IV, Dragon Quest V and Dragon Quest VI. Only the legendary hero can equip them, and the story cannot advance until the entire set is obtained.

Each armament in the fourth and fifth game carry the Zenithian descriptor as part of their name, but in the sixth game each piece has its own distinct title.

Zenithian armour
DQ4
The Zenithian armour (てんくうのよろい) is likely the first piece to be acquired by players. It is found in the cave north of the Medal King's Palace. In the original NES version it reduces breath attacks and spell damage by 1, while in the remakes it raises resistance to instant death while reducing only spell damage (save for Zap) by 1. In all versions it has a defence value of +70.
DQ5
The Zenithian armour is stored in a side room in the entrance to Crocodilopolis, and the Ultimate Key is needed to retrieve it. When worn, it improves defence by 85 points, as well as reducing magic (save bang and zap) and breath damage by 30 points.

Zenithian helm
DQ4
The Zenithian helm (てんくうのかぶと) is found in Canalot, in its king's possession. He holds a competition stipulating that anyone who can make him laugh will win the Helm. The Party 4 travels to Laissez Fayre to recruit comedian Tom Foolery to the cause, expecting him to unleash one of his funniest jokes on the king; instead, he delivers an impassioned speech about evil on the rise and then necessity of the Chosen to defeat it. The king is convinced and gives up the Helm. It increases the Hero 4's defence by 30 in all versions, and cuts the accuracy of Fuddle, Snooze, and Paralysis to 1 in the remakes. In the original, it grants no such protection.

DQ5
The Zenithian helm is being kept in a vault at Helmunaptra by Queen Cleohatra, who is awaiting the arrival of the legendary hero. It improves defence by 50, but grants no resistance to status ailments.

Zenithian shield
DQ4
On a tip from a poet in Canalot, the party heads to Burland, only to find that the king gave the Zenithian shield (てんくうのたて) away to the queen of Femiscyra (a beautiful woman) many years ago in an effort to woo her. The chosen travel to the small kingdom east of Burland, but after being accused of robbery they are tasked with finding the real criminal if they want to clear their names. They successfully track down the real robber, clear their names, and are rewarded with the shield for their hard work. The shield increases the Hero's defence by 55 and casts bounce when used as an item in battle. In the remakes, it reduces the power of breath attacks by 30 points.
DQ5
The shield came into the possession of Rodrigo Briscoletti, who is willing to give it to any suitor that takes his daughter Nera's hand in marriage. Regardless of whom ends up being chosen as the bride, though, Mr. Brisccoletti gives the hero the shield after becoming impressed with the man's caliber. It improves defence by 60 this time, reduces breath damage by 15 points, and casts Bounce when used in battle.

Zenithian sword
DQ4
After acquiring the balloon and traveling to the World Tree, they find a lost Zenithian named Orifiela, who points them to the Zenithian sword (てんくうのつるぎ). It has a base power of 65 when first acquired. After speaking with the Zenith Dragon, the ancient guardian will empower the sword to 110. Using it as an item in battle casts Disruptive Wave.
DQ5
The sword was already located by Pankraz sometime before the start of the game. He left it in a cache in the Whealbrook Adit, which his son later recovered. The sword's power has not changed from the previous game, and it will still cast Disruptive Wave when used as an item.

<small><center>For more details, see the bell's page</center></small>
The Zenithina Tuntinnabulum (てんくうのベル) is an important item. This magical bell can be rang to summon the Zenith Dragon to carry the party across the world.

{{Descriptions
|DQ5=The peal of this bell carries all the way to Zenithia.
The Armour of Orgo (オルゴーのよろい) is found under the ruins of Castle Graceskull. When donned, it reduces frizz, sizz, bang, and fire breath by 35 points, restores 1HP for every 8 steps, and improves the hero's defence and style by +80 and +32. When reworked by the master at the Fashion Forge, the armour's defence and style are raised to +100 and +80, respectively.

{{Descriptions
|DQ6=Restores some of the wearer's HP with each and every step. One of the four pieces of Legendary Equipment. Offers some protection against fire and ice attacks.

Helm of Sebath
DQ6
The Helm of Sebath (セバスのかぶと) is bestowed to the party by the King of Somnia after his son reunites with his real world counterpart. It adds +45 defence and +24 style when first obtained, and +50 and +45 after visiting the Fashion Forge. In both cases it bestows high resistance to whack and other instant death attacks.

Shield of Valora
DQ6
The Shield of Valora (スフィーダのたて) is found in the Cryptic Catacombs, which must be entered through an undersea grotto. When equipped, the shield reduces crack and freezing breath weapons by 30 points, casts Bound when used as an item, increases the hero's defence by +65, and improves his style by +35.

{{Descriptions
|DQ6=One of the four pieces of Legendary Equipment. Use during battle to put a shield in front of the user. This shield will deflect on spells before going away. Some protection against magic and ice-based attacks.

Sword of Ramias
DQ6
The Sword of Ramias (ラミアスのつるぎ) is found in Everfrost, but it has long since rusted. To restore it to its former glory, the party must enlist the help of Welda in Turnscote. When rusted the sword adds +63 to the Hero's attack stat and +12 to his style, and +130 and +32 after Welda restores it. The sword can be further improved by visiting the Fashion Forge beneath the waves, which can raise the strength and style to +135 and +52 after the first reforging, and +145 and +70 after the final improvement. After being restored, the sword will deal bonus Zap damage after each attack, totaling to 50% of the damage deal before magic resistance is applied, as well as being able to cast Oomph when used in battle.

{{Descriptions
Trivia
*Some versions of the Zenithian sword and shield have Anglo-Saxon runes inscribed on them.
** The runes on the sword (around the gold sphere on the hilt) read "mitibikaresi mono", which is an approximate romanization of "導かれし者 michibikareshi mono", meaning "the guided one". This also resembles the Japanese subtitle for Dragon Quest IV, "導かれし者たち michibikareshi monotachi", literally "the people who are shown the way".
** The runes on the shield (around the two gold spheres) are difficult to translate, as they only appear in early low-resolution concept art, and later interpretations of the shield omit these runes entirely.

Boblers: /* Trivia */ regarding runes

The Erdrick Equipment is a set of powerful and crucially important items from the original trilogy of games. The equipment consists of the sword, shield, armour and helmet belonging to the legendary hero Erdrick.

In the first two games the items bear Erdrick's name as a part of his iconography, but in Dragon Quest III each piece has a distinct name: the Sword of Kings, Auroral armor, and Hero's shield. No Helmet exclusive for the hero existed in the original 8-bit version, but subsequent releases have added Ortega's helmet to fill in the gap.

Erdrick's armour
DQ
Erdrick's armour is the most powerful piece of armour in the game, located in the ruined town of Damdara and guarded by a knight aberrant. When equipped, it adds +28 to the player's Defence; reduces magic and breath damage by 33%; nullifies the toxicity of bogs; and restores 1 HP for every step taken.

Descriptions

DQ2
The mail is found in the third floor of the chasm leading to Rendarak, in the bottom-rightmost section of the floor near a set of stairs. Donning it grants +70 Defence this time, along with the expected 33% reduction to breath and magic and harsh terrain immunity but no longer recovers HP while walking. It may be equipped only by the Prince of Midenhall.
Erdrick's helmet
DQ
Helmets are included with armor in the game's illustrations, and as such Erdrick's helmet is drawn as part of the armor.

DQ2
The helmet is gained by exchanging the Emblem of Erdrick in the shrine southeast of Tantegel Castle]]. It grants the Prince of Midenhall +20 Defence.
Erdrick's shield is found in the castle of Cannock, watched over by an old sage in the center of the building's pond. The Golden Key is required to enter the tiny islet. Once obtained, the shield will boost the Prince of Midenhall's Defence by +30.
The Hero's shield is used by the Hero Smash if the player selects the protagonist of the third game. A Mii Swordfighter can also carry the shield if they are using Erdrick's equipment.

Erdrick's sword
DQ
The legendary blade is found in Dragonlord's Castle, off of the path to the Dragonlord. Equipping it grants the player +40 Attack, a substantial boost from the Flame sword's +28. Certain third-party documentation claims that the sword is the only weapon that can cut the despot's scales, but this is completely false. That being said, it is strongly advised to acquire the blade to make the final confrontation much easier.

{{Descriptions

DQ2
The sword is once again found in the Dragonlord's Castle, left there by the previous Hero 1. Unlike the armour, no one has attempted to restore the sword to its original glory, and the +40 Attack bonus means it will not be effective during the game's finale.

The sword can only be equipped by the Prince of Midenhall in the NES, while the Prince of Cannock can also equip the sword in the SFC and all ports of the remake after.
In game, the sword must be reforged in the Alchemy Pot to reach its true potential. Ye Olde Sword of Erdrick became available to download for international players on February 24, 2017. It has an attack bonus of +20 and can be equipped by the Hero 8, as well as Jessica Albert and Red if they have enough skill points in Knives. After the sword has been reforged, Erdrick's sword has an Attack bonus of +120, being second to the Dragovian king sword and the most powerful sword for both Jessica and Red.

DQB2
Erdrick's sword is the most powerful weapon, increasing the Builder's Attack by +118. It takes three orichalcum ingots, two steel ingots, one gold ingot, one zenithium chunk, and one phial of silvery sludge.

SSB5
The Sword of Kings is the weapon the Hero Smash uses if the player selects the protagonist of the third game. It also appears as DLC for the Mii Swordfighter.

Auroral armour
DQ3
The Auroral armor (ひかりのよろい Armor of Light) is found in the third floor of the Tower of Rubiss, the radiant suit of mail will add +85 (+75 in the original) to the Hero 3's Defence, cuts breath/magic damage by 1/3rd, and recovers 1 HP per step.

DQB
The Auroral armour is available for to players in chapter 5, and requires three chunks of zenithium, two ingots of orichalcum, one gold ingot, one ruby, two pelts of fine fur, and a length of cord to assemble. It increases the Builder's Defence by +30 and renders them immune to poison and lava.

DQB2
The armour increases Defence by +30 as before, but now requires three chunks of zenithium, two ingots of orichalcum, two gold ingots, and one ruby to forge.

DQTact
The Auroral Armour is an S-rank armor that can be acquired as part of the limited True Dragon Quest III event by clearing Rubiss's Guidance on any difficulty. It has an Defense bonus of +20, can rarely raise the wearer's spell resistance on each turn and has three slots for Alchemy Effects.

Ortega's helmet
DQ3
Ortega's helmet (オルテガのかぶと) is only available in the SFC Version and subsequent remakes, and originally belonged to Ortega. It is found in the village of Mur and can be sold for 6,150 gold coins. The helmet will add +30 Defence, but offer no protection against debilitating magic except in the GBC Version, where it will reduce the chance of being afflicted by Snooze, Dazzle, and Sap by 50%. This aspect was removed in the subsequent cell phone release due to being a port of the SFC version.

The helmet doesn't exist in the NES version. In its place is a novelty item called the water blaster.

Hero's shield
DQ3
The Hero's shield (ゆうしゃのたて) is located in the Nail Mark north by northwest of Tantegel castle. When equipped, it will boost the Hero 3's Defence by +65, and reduce magic/breath damage by 33%. When both the shield and armour are equipped, the shield's reduction properties will take effect after the armour's.

DQB
The Hero's shield can be forged in chapter five of the game, and takes two chunks of zenithium, a gold ingot, one ruby, two steel ingots, and two blocks of wood to assemble. It increases the Builder's defence by +16 and has no special effects.

DQB2
The Hero's shield raises the Builder's Defence by +32, and requires two bits of zenithium, one ruby, one gold ingot, and two steel ingots to forge.

Sword of Kings
DQ3
The Legendary Sword of Kings (おうじゃのけん), since long before the events of Dragon Quest III, it is said that it took Zoma three years to sunder the blade in twain. Because of this, the player must first locate a piece of Orichalcum and a smith of godly skill in order to restore the weapon. Once reforged, the Sword of Kings will boost the Hero 3's {{Attack by +120, and will deafen a group of enemies with an earth-shaking thunderclap when used as an item in battle.

DQ11
The Sword of Kings is available in the post-game. In Hotto, there is a blacksmith that wishes to forge the sword, and needs Orichalcum to do so. Once given the material, the blacksmith starts forging the sword and asks the player to return later (one in-game day) for it. The Sword of Kings will then become available in the item shop and costs 35,000 gold coins. It has an Attack bonus of +120 and a Charm bonus of +32. It deals wind damage when used as an item. It cannot be upgraded.

The Sword of Kings is one of the ingredients needed to craft the Supreme Sword of Light.

DQB
The Sword of Kings is available in chapter 5 of the game, and requires three lumps of Orichalcum, two steel ingots, one gold ingot, one silver ingot, and a drop of magic dye. It increases the Builder's Attack by +50, and does not wear down with use like other weapons.

DQB2
The sword increases the Builder's Attack by +86, and requires three orichalcum ingots, one zenithium ingot, one gold ingot, and two silver ingots to forge.

DQTact
The Sword of Kings is an S-rank sword that can be acquired as part of the limited True Dragon Quest III event by obtaining Orichalcum fragments through various challenges. It has an HP bonus of +30, an Attack bonus of +30, raises the physical potency of Hero units by 5% and has three slots for Alchemy Effects.

Miscellaneous
Sacred Amulet
Exclusive to Dragon Quest III, the amulet is given to the Hero 3 by Rubiss and will grant +30 Luck, along with complete immunity to instant death and Kamikazee.

Erdrick's gauntlets
As Dragon Quest IX has split armor into three categories, the gauntlets that originally came with the auroral armor have become their own equipment for the game.

</gallery></center>

Trivia
*The iconography of Erdrick bears a distinct resemblance to Ramia, appearing on the sword, shield, and armor of legend. Even the hero's emblem bears Ramia's visage, likely owning to her significance in III's chain of events.
*The overworld sprite of Ortega in the SFC Version shows him wearing a black helmet with a single strip of metal going vertically along the cranium, rather than the blue emblemized helmet seen in later sets of the Armor of Erdrick. This could imply that the helmet was modified after joining with the legendary gear.
*Some versions of the sword and shield have Anglo-Saxon runes inscribed on them.
** The runes on the sword read "Dragon Kuest", an approximation of Dragon Quest. These runes first appeared on the sword in artwork for VIII.
** The runes on the shield read "Roto", Erdrick's Japanese name. These runes first appeared on the shield in Famicon artwork.

Boblers: series navbox

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai (インフィニティ ストラッシュ ドラゴンクエスト ダイの大冒険) is a console action videogame adapting The Adventure of Dai. It was originally announced alongside Xross Blade and A Hero's Bonds, as a "console game" to be released in 2021. However it was delayed citing graphical improvments. It is developed by Game Studio and KAI GRAPHICS, and published by Square Enix. The game still doesn't have a release date, but it's set to release worldwide on Switch, PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam.

Unlike the other Dai games, Infinity Strash takes inspiration directly on the original manga, while the other games are inspired by the recent anime adaptation.

Gameplay
Infinity Strash is an action game in which the player can control characters from The Adventure of Dai and face off against foes.

The game has two mode:
* Story Mode: a retelling of the classic manga storyline. This mode lets players experience the story of the manga up until the “Battle of Sovereign Rock Castle” arc. Players can run through fields while controlling the disciples of Avan and battle powerful enemies. This mode includes CGI scenes trying to recapture the feel of the 2020 anime.
* Temple of Memories: an original dungeon which remixes enemies and mechanics each time the player enters the dungeon. Players can make certain choices during their time at the temple determine the kind of mechanics and enemies they might encounter.

There is a growth system called Bond Memories which allow players to equip mementos in order to increase their character's stats depending on the linked memory. Each memory shows an image from the original manga upon getting obtained.
is an upcoming action role-playing game for Android and iOS devices. It was scheduled to be released on 28 September 2021, available in Japanese and English.

As an adaption of 2020 anime Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, the game contained two stories: the storyline "Dragon-Tracks" followed the anime's plot and cast, while "Bonding-Journey" featured a brand new story.

Development
A Hero's Bonds was originally announced on May 27th, 2020 as part of the "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai project", a project to make a brand new anime and videogames based on the manga series. The 2020 Anime series, Xross Battle and Infinity Strash are the other parts of the project.

Square Enix started social media accounts in Japanese and English for the game around September 2020. On September 17, 2021, roughly ten days before the service started, they introduced Facebook accounts with French and Chinese support, the last two languages the game supports.

Gameplay
Overview
Players control two characters, the Leader of the Luminaries and a character from the Dai series, and have two additional characters as support units. Characters advance forward fighting hordes of enemies in three lanes. Players can autoattack, defend, freely change lanes, use skills which take some time to charge up, and swap between their two main party members.

There is multiplayer for up to three players.

There are 6 type of missions, divided in two categories: Story and Events. The three Story mission types are:
* Dragon Tracks: "Delve into the memories of Dai and his loyal companions, and witness their tale unfold." <br>A retelling of the story in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai.
* Bonding Journey: "Join Dai and his friends on their adventures in the world of Milladosia."<br>Aside from experiencing a brand new story, players can unlock playable characters in this storymode.
* Character Quests: "A new tale of bonding with Dai and friends." <br>Players can learn more about the characters from Adventure of Dai that they have befriended. Players will need to spend time with their favorite characters in order to increase their bonding level and unlock more character quests.
The Events mission types are:
* Challenge Quests: "Complete training quests to improve your skills." <br>Instead of using stamina like all other quests, tickets are required to embark on these missions. These tickets are resetted each day.
* Event Quests: "Experience a new story and complete quests to earn exclusive rewards." <br>These quests are timed, only available for a limited time. <br>See: List of events in A Hero's Bonds.
* Hall of Perdition: "A hall wreathed in mystery. Challenge super-powerful new enemies!" <br>Players can challenge strong bosses to fights in order to earn Trophies and other rewards. Trophies can be equipped to increase the party's overall strength.

Starting on October 28, 2021, a ranked battle mode was added. In this mode players fight against bosses in order to achieve the highest scoring and rank among the best players.

Stamina
Stamina in this game is consumed when quests are completed, and it recovers at a rate of 1 stamina point every 6 minutes. The max stamina can be increased by completing story chapters in the several difficulties.

There are four additional ways of recovering stamina faster: visiting the player's alliance (guild), seeing an ad (two per day, each recovers 20 stamina points), stamina pottions (they recover either 30 or 60 stamina points, depending on the size of the potion), and using gems (full stamina refill for 50 gems). Stamina points can never go over 9999.

Treasure Hunt
Treasure hunt is the name doing gacha pulls recieves in this title. Each treasure hunt costs 300 gems per 1 item or 3000 per 10. Some special keys can be used for specific banners, getting 1 item per key.
Types of Treasure hunt:
* Equipment treasure hunt: costs 300 gems or 3000 gems (red or blue, blue are prioritized), and gives 1 (300 gems) or 10 (3000 gems) equipment pieces. They often contain 4★, 3★ and 2★ gear.
* Red gem only treasure hunt: they cost 3000 red gems per 10 equipment pieces, and guarantee one equipment piece of 4★.
* Soul hunt: same as the normal treasure, but they give soul crystals instead of gear.
* Video bonus treasure hunt: free treasure hunts that can provide upgrade materials, tickets, stamina potions and gems, if the player decides to watch an ad. Two per day.
* Normal treasure hunt: it's completely free, and can give several upgrade materials, tickets and 1★ and 2★ equipment.

Story
The game includes two intertwining stories: Dragon Tracks and Bonding Journey.
Dragon-Tracks
Dragon Tracks is a reteling of the story from the manga, but with the help of the Luminary Leader in all fights.
Bonding-Journey
Bonding Journey is a brand new story supervised by the original writter of the series, Riku Sanjo. Koji Inada, the original manga artist of the series, designed Pinky, a pink talking Dracky that assists the players through this adventure.
It takes place in the world of Milladosia, a parallel world to Dai's. The threat of Xevallo, the Lord of the Void and bond breaker, must be combated by the Luminary Leader and the friends they make in Dragon Tracks.

Customization
Appearance
The player can freely customize the main character at the beginning of the adventure or from the menu (Menu > Communication > Change Look). The options are:
* Hero type: This affects the protagonist's gender. Two options: A and B.
* Hairstyle Shape: A selection of 10 hairstyles per type to choose from.
* Hairstyle Colour 1: The main color the hair will be. There are 20 options to choose from.
* Hairstyle Colour 2: The color for details in the hair. There are 20 options to choose from.
* Face Type: There are 4 options per body type. All of them have the Luminary Leader Crest on their forehead.
* Eye Colour: This option affects the color of the character's irises. There are 20 options to choose from.
* Skin Tone: This affects the character's skin. There are 8 tones to choose from.
* Voice: This affects the voiced lines and grunts the character has. The are 3 options per type: Brave, Calm or Cute for Type A; and Brave, Calm or Clown for Type B.
Vocations
The main character is the only character that has access to the vocation system. The player can freely change vocations. The five vocations available are:
* Hero: A well balanced vocation. What makes it unique is people on the Hero vocation can defend and their normal attacks usually only affect enemies on their lane. Heroes have a good variety of skills available, some of which can hit enemies on all three lanes. It's vocational trait raises the user's defenses.
* Warrior: An offensive vocation. Instead of being able to defend, warriors can charge up more powerful attacks. Their regular attacks can hit enemies on all three lanes. Warriors are usually slower than Heroes, but their attack is higher and they are great for breaking the enemy defense. It's vocational trait enhances the user's Endurance.
* Mage: A ranged magical vocation. Mages cannot defend either, but they can charge up their ranged attacks. Their normal attacks only affect enemies on their lane. Mages excel at elemental damage, particularly Fire and Light spells. They are also great for clearing enemy lines with some AoE spells such as Bang or Sizz. It's main vocation trait raises the user's Magical Attack.
* Priest: A support vocation. Priests can defend just as heroes do, and their normal attack only affect enemies on their lane. Priests excel at healing and buffing allies, but they can also do AoE spells like Woosh. It's vocational trait raises the user's Recovery stat.
* Martial Artist: An offensive vocation ideal for fighting lone warrior, added into the game in March of 2022. Martial Artists are physical fighters with high Attack, and can enter the Warrior Master State by building up their gauge by attaking enemies. This state boosts the user's critical rate for physical attacks, and makes them less likely to be staggered by enemy attacks. It's main vocational trait raises the user's Physical Critical Rate slightly.
* Sage: A balanced vocation added into the game in August of 2022. Sages can use all the skills of priests, and their own too. They have two switchable states: Attack Mode, which raises Magical Attack by 50%; and Defence Mode, which raises Recovery by 50%.

Equipment
The player can equip, upgrade and evolve gear. The gear equipped on the main character will be reflected on their appearance. Equipping weapons allow characters to use skills related to the weapon type, for instance equipping Dai with a sword will allow him to use sword-restricted skills. Most gear give characters stats bonuses and/or other additional effects such as slight elemental resistance.

Gear can be upgraded with raw materials and other gear, and doing so increases it's stats and level. A max level weapon usually has much higher attack than a non-upgraded weapon of the same type.

Most pieces of equipment can be evolved using duplicates of the same equipment as materials. Evolving equipment raises the piece's maximum level and can upgrade traits.

There are 6 kinds of weapons: Swords, Spears, Axes, Claws, Wands, and Heavy Wands.
There are 10 kinds of armor: Shields, Large Shields, Armour (Top), Armour (Legs), Fighter Garb (Top), Fighter Garb (Legs), Outfit (Top), Outfit (Legs), Clothes (Top), and Clothes (Legs).
Each vocation can equip a subset of weapon and armor types:
* Hero: Swords, Spear, Large Shields, Armour (Top), Armour (Legs), Clothes (Top), and Clothes (Legs).
* Warrior: Swords, Axes, Large Shields, Armour (Top), Armour (Legs), Clothes (Top), and Clothes (Legs).
* Mage: Heavy Wands, Shields, Outfits (Top), Outfits (Legs), Clothes (Top), and Clothes (Legs).
* Priest: Wands, Shields, Outfits (Top), Outfits (Legs), Clothes (Top), and Clothes (Legs).
* Martial Artist: Claws, Large Shields, Fighter Garb (Top), Fighter Garb (Legs), Clothes (Top), and Clothes (Legs).

It should be noted, however, that characters originally from The Adventure of Dai, can only equip one weapon type regardless of their vocation. For example, Crocodine (Vortex Axe) can only equip Axes despite being a Warrior type.
Party
The player has access to 10 parties to customize. Each party needs, at least the main character and one partner character, but can include two additional allies. The difference between allies and partners is that the player can swap between the main character and the partner during battle while the allies act on their own.

Players can also equip parties with a trophy, which increases the party's combat power and might grant special passive skills, like additional damage against specific enemy types. The trophies can be leveled up with duplicates, for improved traits.

Each character can equip one weapon, one armor top, one armor bottom and a shield, two normal skills and one special move. While characters from the same party can't share the same equipment or skills at a time, they can be shared between parties. The same applies to trophies.
