The goonache goodie is a species of delicious slime introduced in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince. They are the result of chocoslimes who find themselves trapped in a pastry pocket after being lured by its alluring aroma.

The flowing dress is a powerful robe in the DQSeries, debuting in Dragon Quest II as a special piece of equipment. It offers very high protection against fire and ice attacks and is one of the most protective pieces of body armor for spellcasters. Despite its name, it can be equipped by both male and female characters in most cases.

Characteristics
The appearance of the flowing dress has not changed much over the years. In the majority of its appearances, the robe looks like a traditional Japanese kimono made out of sky blue cloth with the hemline of the robe blending into what appears to be flowing water or mist. It is worn with either a blue or purple sash tied around the waist, along with another cloth sash attached to a pair of golden wristbands or carried around the wearer's wrists. However, in some appearances such as Dragon Quest X, the flowing dress looks closer to a Western-styled robe with a hood and has wave-like decorations around the sleeves and hemline. As footwear is usually part of the "armor" equipment slot barring accessories, it is also typically depicted as being accompanied by a pair of light sandals, yellow or orange (in a way suggestive of leather), secured by straps on the ankle, arch and around the big toe. More recent depictions feature a pair of anklets on the left foot.

Although the flowing dress debuted as a unique and special piece of equipment in Dragon Quest II, later games in the series reduced its importance by making it purchasable in armor shops in later sections of the game or by allowing players themselves to craft it on their own. It is still a very protective in its own right, but its status as the most protective robe has been replaced by other pieces of equipment.
The flowing dress has a defence bonus of +35 in the original, and +65 in all other versions. It protects against fire attacks by 50% and damage caused by swamps and magma tiles. It can be worn by all three characters. The robe is obtained by giving the Subtle Shuttle and Celestial skein to Don Calico in Slewse. The wizened weaver does not finish his work until the player saves and then restarts their game or rests at an inn in the remakes.

In the original version, a second copy of the dress can be obtained by gathering the skein and shuttle again. This only works the first time. Because Don Calico wove it specifically for her, the dress cannot be received if the Princess of Moonbrooke's inventory is full.

It can be purchased for 15,000 gold and sold for 11,250. If appraised by Torneko, he mentions that it goes all the way back to the time of the faeries. A headhunter is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. They are wild, leaping humanoids that wield their weapons with reckless abandon.

Description
The Headhunter is a palette swap of the berserker and, as such, acts in the same way. Headhunters are green humanoids with wild blond hair and a set of jagged fangs lining their mouths. They wield small hatchets and shields and they wear blue tunics and sandals with a purple cape. They also wear silver circlets around their head decorated with a blue gem. Headhunters attack wildly in combat, swinging their axes in quick succession to overwhelm their enemies. When they originally appeared, headhunters had a completely black head, but starting with Dragon Quest VIII, they now have green heads like the rest of their bodies, possibly to avoid any unfortunate resemblance to real-world blackface.
Gotha is a kingdom in DQ5.

The castle is surrounded by thick forests and impassable mountains, and is located south of a lake which empties into the ocean. Due to its extreme isolation, Battenburg is the only nearby settlement and the mountain town boasts an incredible view of the kingdom.

Appearances
DQ5
Gotha is the home town of King Pankraz, and therefore the birthplace of The Hero 5 as well. It is first shown in the opening cutscene of the game where Pankraz is anxiously waiting for the birth of his son, and is where the player names the Hero 5. During the second generation of the game, the Hero 5 returns to Gotha and claims the throne from his steward uncle to the joy of the citizens, but also to the quiet frustration of the chancellor, who plays coy and insists that the Hero 5 must first prove himself before taking the throne.

Each King of Gotha must pass a trial in the nearby Riteof Passage to prove their worth before they are allowed to ascend the throne. Simultaneous to this challenge is that the Hero 5's Wife 5 has entered the final stages of her pregnancy and will give birth shortly, preventing her from accompanying her husband. The Hero 5 succeeds in the trail in spite of a would-be assassination attempt, and returns to Gotha to find that he is the proud father of twins. This sends the citizens of Gotha into a celebratory frenzy and clamor for a night of revelry. The food and drinks were laden with sedatives, however, and the Hero awakens after sensing something is wrong and discovered that monsters have kidnapped his Wife 5. Thankfully, the nursemaid was taking care of the newborns and did not sample the poisoned food, hiding the infants under the bed and sparing them their mother's fate. She warns the Hero 5 that this happened during the night of his own birth, and he sets out to recover his Wife 5.

After the petrification of the Hero 5 and his wife at Knightmare Towers and the death of the traitorous chancellor, the Hero 5's uncle takes control of the throne once again for eight years, relinquishing it once the twins have revived their father. The children, Sancho, and Tuppence the guardsman then join the Hero 5 as he sets outs to recover his Wife 5 and rid the world of the order of Zugzwang once and for all. Gotha thus becomes the base of operations for the player in the third generation, with Monty, Patty, and Rainbow's End gold bank setting up shop in second floor.
Coburg is a major kingdom found in DQ5.

It is located north of a small lake, and is bordered by mountains on the north and east, and grassy plains to the southwest. It consists of a castle and a small town.

The castle also contains a Teleportal leading to the Arboreas Teleportal which is near Abovitall Tower. The Teleportal from this end is guarded by an old man at night to prevent entry to Coburg Castle.

Appearances
DQ5
Coburg is one of the central kingdoms in the game, and the player first enters it after the Hero 5 and Pankraz cross through the Coburg checkpoint in the final act of the game's first generation. Pankraz has been summoned by the King to discuss important matters, and the Hero 5 is left to explore the castle grounds. The King requests that Pankraz watch over his son, Harry, who is a terrible brat that causes endless strife for the castle staff. The King also suggests that the Hero 5 try and make friends with him, hoping he'd be a good influence on the boy.

The two get off to a rocky start before things get even worse, with Harry being kidnapped by thugs and hauled off before the Hero 5 and Pankraz can stop them. Making a break for the Ancient Ruins north of Coburg, the Party 5 attempts to rescue Harry but are confronted by members of the Order of Zugzwang. Pankraz is murdered by the order and the children are hauled off into slavery, with the Hero 5's pet sabrecub being left to fend for himself in the wild.

A decade passes, and when the duo escape their imprisonment at Crocodilopolis alongside a girl named Maria, they return to Coburg and uncover the truth of Harry's kidnapping. The Queen of Coburg married into nobility after Harry was already born to the late Queen, and this put her own son--Wilbur, second in line for the throne unless something were to happen to the boy. She arranged for his kidnapping and unwittingly struck a deal with the Order of Zugzwang, and watched as Wilbur took the throne with the King's passing one year after the kidnapping. The Queen, now the Dowager, was eventually impersonated by a monster and imprisoned in the castle dungeon for several years. This imposter ruled Coburg from behind the throne, turning the peaceful kingdom into a militarized dictatorship that levied immense taxes on the people and raze Whealbrook to the ground.

When the faux dowager is exposed and killed, peace returns to Coburg. Wilbur takes responsibility for the kingdom directly for the first time, and Harry advises him along the way. Though Harry has to part ways with the Hero 5 at this point, he leaves behind his farewell in a familiar place and wishes him the best. Later on, Harry and Maria marry and attend the Hero 5's own wedding. In the third generation, the two have a son of their own whom Wilbur names as the heir to Coburg.

Knick-knack
A very personal kick-knack is the Marital organ, a memento of the wedding between Harry and Maria that the Hero 5 unfortunately missed. It is a small music box with mechanical figurines of of the newlyweds set on top, with Harry in a sharp white and Maria in a beautiful lavender.
Remake changes
*Prince Wilbur's sprite in Generation III was changed originally in the Super Famicom version to resemble other kings in the game. The remakes maintain his Generation II sprite in the timeskip.
*In addition to presenting The Hero 5 with the Marital organ, Harry beforehand has him checking out the empty chest in his former bedroom which is shown to have a note where the Prince mentions how Pankraz's sacrifice is what kept him going during the years of slavery. As well as mentioning how he hopes that keeping Coburg safe will help his childhood friend.

Etymology
Coburg is derived from Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, a duchy of central Germany. This territory would also lend its name to the homeland of the Hero 5, further underlining the connection between the two kingdoms in the Hero 5's life.
The Abovitall Tower is a tower dungeon in DQ5.

It is located south of Fortuna. The tower itself is locked and can only be opened by a nun from the Heaven's Above Abbey. The tower holds Ra's Mirror.

Story
Upon learning that Queen Dowager of Coburg is possibly an imposter, The Hero 5 and Harry seek out the Ra's Mirror at the suggestion.

Their search leads them to the Abovital Tower which only allows those of faith to open the doors to proceed further into the tower, prompting the Party 5 to temporarily recruit their friend Maria from Heaven's Above Abbey.

Although progress appears to be impeded by a large gap, there is actually an invisible bridge on either side of the straight path to Ra's mirror.
