Not-colossal fossils are used as a material for crafting weapons and armour or in alchemy to add an effect to equipment that will give the wearer a chance to a cast a spell or use a skill without consuming MP. It can be purchased from a material store for 150 gold each, picked up from sparkly spots, or dropped by certain monsters such as [[Mad mole]]s.

It can be used in the quick recipe for the [[Lucky dragon's wing]] or the classic recipes for the [[Gold bracer]] and [[Gold chain]] in the [[Alchemy Pot]] or sold for 36 gold coins.
