==Overview==
The baton allows its conductor to sooth monsters and command them with ease. It emits a calming aura that relaxes monsters who have gone mad. So far only two humans have owned it: [[Amatea]] and [[Hero (Dragon Quest Tact)|the protagonist]]. 

Mindini uses it when scouting with tickets or gems. Depending on its glow, one can determine what highest rank among the scouted monsters will be.
