The '''Gold nuglet''' is a recurring item in the {{DQSeries}}. It is a fragment of gold smaller than a [[gold nugget]], but can still fetch a high amount of gold coins by selling it. In some games, it is also used for [[alchemy]] and crafting items.

Gold nuglets are used as an ingredient in furniture crafting or for adding [[Style]] to pieces of equipment through the use of alchemy. It can be sold for 300 gold. Gold nuglets can be picked up from sparkly spots or dropped by various monsters, including [[Gem jamboree]]s, [[Mecha-mynah]]s, [[Mischievous mole]]s, [[Sham hatwitch]]es, and [[Waspion]]s.

Gold nuglets can be purchased from the shop at the [[Trial Isle]] for 2,400 gold each during the third act and can be sold for 600 gold. They can be received from sparkly spots at the [[Champs Sauvage - Whale Way Station]], [[the Battleground]], the [[Hoarder's Keep]], and [[the Cruel Crypt]]. [[24-carrot bunicorn]]s will always drop gold nuglets, while they have a {{fraction|1|16}} chance of being dropped by [[Gyldenbritches]] and [[Mechan-o'-wyrm]]s, a {{fraction|1|32}} chance by [[Gold-plated puppet]]s and [[Orc chieftain]]s, and a {{fraction|1|128}} chance by [[Gold drohl]]s.
