Already learned by [[Yangus]] when he joins the party, it is used by pressing the R2 button (ZR in the Nintendo Switch version) to deal a small amount of damage to enemies and is useful in dropping a [[restless armour]] monster's guard. However, the invincibility time is short and it makes the user vulnerable to ranged attacks. In the sequel, it is also used by [[Torneko Taloon]] and [[Carver]].
