The '''Boomerang''' is a recurring weapon in the ''[[Dragon Quest (series)|Dragon Quest]]'' franchise. It hits all enemies in battle and is usually the weakest boomerang in the game.

The boomerang has an attack bonus of +19. It can be equipped by the [[Hero (Dragon Quest III)|Hero]], [[Gadabout]]s, [[Mage|Magi]], [[Merchant]]s, and [[Thief|Thieves]]. In the SNES and GBC versions it is found in the first [[T'n'T]] board near [[Romaria]], and in android/ios version it is found in a [[Norvik]] treasure chest.

It's available for shops for 350 [[Gold]] Coins, and has the attack bonus of +18.  In the [[Sony PlayStation]] and [[Nintendo DS]] version it's replaced by the [[Hunter's bow]] as the boomerang only targeted a single enemy originally.

The boomerang has an attack bonus of +15, and can be equipped by the [[Hero (Dragon Quest V)|Hero]], all slime recruits, the [[Man o' war (Recruit)|Man o' war]], [[Powie yowie (Recruit)|Powie yowie]], [[Hellion (Recruit)|Hellion]], [[Minidemon (Recruit)|Minidemon]], [[Cross eye (Recruit)|Cross eye]], [[Flamethrower (Recruit)|Flamethrower]], and [[Beastmaster (Recruit)|Beastmaster]].

It can be purchased in [[Roundbeck]], [[Faerie Lea]], and [[Fortuna]] for 400 gold and can be resold for 200.

The boomerang has an attack bonus of +15 and a style bonus of +5. It can only be equipped by the [[Hero (Dragon Quest VII)|Hero]] and [[Ruff]]. It can be bought at Frobisher and Greenthumb Gardens in the past for 650 gold and sold for 325.

The boomerang has an attack bonus of +19. It can be equipped by the [[Hero (Dragon Quest VIII)|Hero]] and [[Morrie]]. It can be purchased in [[Farebury]] and [[Alexandria]] for 420 gold. The boomerang can also be upgraded into the [[reinforced boomerang]] using the [[Alchemy Pot]] by combining it with an [[iron nail]].
