| The Liquid metal shield has a defence bonus of +60 and casts [[Snub]] when used as a tool in battle. In the remakes of ''IV'', it also cuts fire and ice breath damage by 40 points. In the NES version, players can obtain the shield for 50,000 coins at [[Endor]]'s casino, and can only be equipped by [[Borya]], [[Kiryl]], [[Maya]], and [[Meena]]. It is the most protective shield in the game, being even stronger than the [[Zenithian shield]].
