Ulzuun]], has a 15% chance of being found in [[List of treasure map treasure chest ranks in Dragon Quest IX#Rank_4/F|Rank 4]] blue treasure chests, or dropped by [[Walking corpse]]s, [[Stenchurion]]s, [[Toxic zombie]]s, [[Ghoul]]s, [[Apeckalypse]]s, and [[Mortoad]]s. One clod of manky mud is required to complete [[Template:DQIXQuest/127|Quest #127]]: A Right Royal Nightmare, along with a [[Malicite]], and a vial of [[Sage's elixir]]. Manky mud can be sold for 15 gold or can be used in the following alchemy recipes:
