'''Wild Side''' is a recurring technique that greatly boosts the user's abilities in battle. Depending on the title, it is a [[Coup de Grâce]], a [[Pep|group technique]], or a regular skill. Regardless of the finer details, the performer is super-charged with power and emblazoned with a beastly symbol that consistently appears in each game.

The scroll that teaches the {{Hero 1}} how to perform Wild Side is the reward for exchanging 10 mini medals at the [[Citadel of the Monarch of Medals]]. It costs 30 MP to perform, lasts for 3~5 turns, and the [[Souped-up skills|souped-up version]] of the skill is [[Divide]].

The [[Princess of Moonbrooke]] learns Wild Side at level 35, and the [[Prince of Midenhall]] and [[Prince of Cannock]] can learn it by reading a scroll found in the [[Northern Seabed Storeroom]]. The Prince of Cannock's souped-up version is also Divide.

In the 2024 remake, Wild Side can be learned by the [[Monster Wrangler]] upon recruiting [[List of recruitable monsters in Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake|50 monsters]]. Wild Side costs 9 {{MP}} and allows the user to attack twice in a row for 3~5 turns.
*The May 23rd, 2025 update patch has increased the cost of Wild Side to 30 MP

Wild Side is the Coup de Grace of the [[Monster Master]], increasing attack and defense by 2 stages and dropping the interval time between actions to nothing for 45 seconds, allowing the use of deft combos that would be impossible otherwise.

Wild Side is a Pep Power that requires the {{Hero 11}}, [[Erik]], and {{Serena 11}} to be in the party—no specific skills or spells need to be known ahead of time. Erik howls at the moon and his attack, defence, agility double in addition to being able to act twice per turn. The effect lasts until Erik acts five times.

[[Mia]] joins her brother in letting loose when their [[dragon daggers]] store enough magical energy and release it in the form of their personal Dragon Attack. Wild Side increases the children's stats and greatly raises their movement speed, allowing the player to sprint around monsters faster than the brutes can even react.

Wild Side serves as the Female Monster Wrangler's base perk which nullifies and removes some status ailments, reduces damage taken by 20%, and raises evasion rate by 60% if her HP is 70% or over. She can also unleash abilities or basic attacks twice as long as her HP is 70% or over.
