The survivors built their new home in a large cave in the shadow of Rendarak after monsters destroyed their first colony, and remain underground so as to not attract the notice of Hargon Elements of Rendarakian culture are seen throughout the subterranean village, such as the architecture being reminiscent of the [[Rendarak Shrine]] and the [[Hall of Hargon|now-occupied castle]] even taking into account the difficulties of building around the cave's natural formations, and a man in the inn boasts that the weapons sold in the town are designs inspired by generations of Rendarak craftsmanship.
