In Dragon Quest V, there are only two different Rat enemies – Fat Rat and Dirty Rat (names via both the international Nintendo DS and iOS/Android releases). <br /> <br /> This article confuses the similarly colored Ratscal with the Fat Rat. The Fat Rat has more blueish fur, the Ratscal has more greyish fur. The confusion likely rises from the SNES/PS2 releases of Dragon Quest V, where the Fat Rat was given the Ratscal&#039;s colors. These colors were corrected in the more recent DS and iOS/Android releases of DQV.
