The Admirer (formerly localized as JellyMan) is a semi-recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. It can take on the form of anyone in the party, complete with their copied stats and abilities.

Description

The admirer is a blob-like monster. Similar in constitution to the Bubble slime, it rises from the ground to attack its enemies. In its original appearance, the admirer was red in color. In all subsequent appearances, the color was changed to green. It is part of the Elemental family.

Characteristics

Gloopy green slimey monsters that slide into battle and have the uncanny agility to perfectly replicate the strength, form and fighting skills of adventurers. Although they can only replicate their basic form, they're still armed with a variety of abilities to keep opponents on their toes. Even before they transform they're solid and sturdy enough to be able to defend and prevent deadly damage.
