Double Down is a recurring boomerang ability in the Dragon Quest series. It is an enhanced version of Twomerang that launches a glowing boomerang from each hand at all enemies twice. It has a chance to make enemies more susceptible to harmful status effects.

Double Down can be learned by Minstrels, Gadabouts, Rangers, Sages, Item Masters, and Pirates by allocating 140 skill points into the Boomerang skill and costs 8 MP to use. It deals 240% damage to all enemies within range twice and and reduces resistance to negative status effects.
