The '''Admirer'''  is a recurring {{MFamilies}} in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in {{Dragon Quest V}}. It is a jelly-like monster that can take on the form of anyone in the [[party]], complete with their copied stats and abilities. Its name is a pun based on the words "admire" and "mire".
The admirer is a blob-like monster. Similar in constitution to the [[Bubble slime]], it rises from the ground to attack its enemies. It is part of the Elemental family.

The original appearance of the admirer was red in colour, but on all subsequent appearances the colour was changed to a shade of neon green. Admirers appeared from the beginning of the game. They no longer defend themselves, but they will still cast Blunt to weaken any attackers as in the previous game.
