The | The dreamstone is an item in DQ3, and is a sacred treasure of the Fair Folk.

The | ===DQ3=== | ||
The dreamstone is part of a sidequest involving the village of Norvik and the Super Secret Faerie Village. A man from Norvik fell in love with Aniseed, the daughter of the Queen of Faeries. However, their love was forbidden by the queen by Faerie law and, as a result, the daughter stole a ruby called the dreamstone and fled the hidden village. The queen, thinking that the villagers of Norvik had stolen the ruby, placed a sleeping spell on the village that immobilized the people for many years. Meanwhile, the daughter and her lover left a note and committed suicide in the Underground Lake.
When the Hero 3 and Party 3 retrieve the dreamstone and presents Aniseed's letter to the queen, she gives group the wakey dust to life the curse she placed on Norvik.
