Bodkin bowyers are small [[Humanoid family|goblin]]-like creatures with purple skin that don green robes and yellow hoods instead of the normal brown. Their golden-colored hoods indicate that they are among the strongest of the bodkins, only being surpassed later by the [[bodkin bloodbow]].

They carry brown shortbows and their arrows have yellow fletchings. Their arrows are laced with various toxins that can either put unfortunate adventurers to [[Sleep (status)|sleep]], or inflict [[paralysis]], depending on the title, and they also deliver a '''[[Rain of Pain]]''', as well. As a last resort, the bowyers will call for help from more of their kind to assist them.

Bodkin bowyers appeared from the beginning of the game. They regained their ability to put enemies to {{Sleep}} with their [[Sleep Attack|attack]]s, along with being able to unleash a [[Rain of Pain]] and call for backup from more of their kind.
