The leather hat has a Defence bonus of +2 and can be equipped by all vocations except for Mages (in the original version of the game) and Martial Artists. It can be purchased from Reeve, Romaria, and the Immigrant Town in its early stages for 80 gold and sold for 60 gold. Leather hats can be dropped by antnibblers, spiked hares, and mermaniacs. One can be found in Romaria and the first Treasures n' Trapdoors board.
