| Made of thick cloth, they don't really protect you too much from the enemy. Even so, it's better than nothing and it does lessen the damage inflicted by the enemy a little bit. You can buy them at Tantegel/Brecconary for 20 G. The wearer gains +2 defense power. Due to text restrictions in the Gameboy Color remake of Dragon Quest, Clothes was renamed to Cloth with a picture of armor besides it.
