| Once the temple has been cleansed of its demonic presence, it is possible to change a character's class, which modifies that character's stats and allows them to learn additional skills and magic. Only a few classes are available at the start, but mastering certain combinations of classes will unlock more powerful classes. Monster classes can be unlocked by obtaining a heart of that creature, with advanced monster classes also being unlockable in the same manner as the other advanced classes.
