I believe the error you mentioned was a result of me changing the PHP to version 5, which is needed to upgrade to MediaWiki 1.15.3; I changed it back to the earlier version when I discovered the editing problem/error messages. I will attempt to update the MediaWiki software the DQDE currently uses on Saturday March 6, 2010. Since the database needed to be backed up prior to attempting a software update, any changes made to the wiki between now and a successful upgrade may be lost in the transition.
