Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive AgeEdit

The Choker can be found in the ruins of the Zwaardsrust Region in a pile of gold coins behind a door that requires the Magic Key to open. It cannot be equipped as an accessory, but if the player attempts to use it, they will receive an ominous warning and think better of it. The familiar tune of a character equipping a cursed item from the older games can be heard.

Dragon Quest WalkEdit

The Choker can be received as a reward during the Dragon Quest I event. Unlike its original appearance, the choker has a Defence bonus of +5 and increases the wearer's resistance to instant death effects by 5%.

Captain N: The Game MasterEdit

The Cursed necklace turns the wearer into a target for the legendary Golden Dragon. It will alter in size to fit the wearer. Attempts to remove it without disabling the magic will result in a shock. It's placed on Simon Belmont by The Dragonlord as a means of getting rid of him and The N Team.

Simon was able to remove it through the use of some Fairy water, and tossed it onto The Dragonlord, who after removing it with some Fairy water tosses the Necklace onto the dragon as a result.
