The game begins with young [[Terry]] and [[Mireyu]] living peacefully in their house.  When they go to bed at night [[Terry]] gets up and goes into the next room.  A strange monster named Warabou from the Great Log Kingdom then appears from a dresser looking for [[Mireyu]] and kidnaps her and then vanishes back from the dresser he came from.  Soon after another monster named Watabou appears from the same dresser looking for [[Mireyu]] but is surprised to learn that she has already been taken away.  Watabou then asks [[Terry]] if he would like to find out where his sister is and asks him to follow him.  Watabou and [[Terry]] both go into the dresser and [[Terry]] then finds himself in an unknown land.
