The Deathbringer's Shade is a weapon in Dragon Quest Swords. It is available only in Payback Mode and is the strongest sword in the game. Like its predecessor, Deathbringer, the sword is an uber sword.

This weapon is made by tempering the Deathbringer with 10 Gold Bar, 8 Orichalcum, and 5 Noble Metal. This sword also teaches the hero the Figure Of Hate.
