The Nail Mark (Cave Northwest of Tantegel) is a cave in Alefgard in Dragon Quest III. It is the precursor to Erdrick's Cave in Dragon Quest. It is the location of the Hero's Shield.
History
It is said that the cave is the point where Zoma entered Alefgard. Upon his defeat, The Hero and his companions fall into an opening pit from Zoma's Citadel to the third basement of the cave. Upon leaving, the third basement is sealed off.
