The Conquerer's axe is a recurring weapon in the series, and among the strongest axes in each game it appears in. Seemingly grown from bone than molded from metal, the blade features a sinister grin.

In VIII, the Conquerer's axe is a weapon for Yangus with an attack bonus of +103 and is found hidden away in the lower section of the isolated hilltop near Rydon's Tower.

• In the 3DS version, a second Conquerer's axe can be found in the Altar of Wroth.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

The name was changed to the Executioner's axe for unknown reasons.

The Conqueror's axe, it has an Attack bonus of +111 at its base level. This can be upgraded up to +3, which increases the bonus by: +117, +124, and +132. It can be bought at Havens Above or Trial Isle for 26,000 Gold Coins and can be sold for 13,000. Hendrik can equip it.
