The Training togs are a type of clothing that first appeared in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.
Dragon Quest III
They have a defense bonus of +10, and can only be worn by Fighters, Jesters and Sages.
They can be purchased with 80 Gold Coins, and sold for 60.
Dragon Quest IX
The Training top and Training trousers formed as a pair are meant to be this armor (seperately, the upper part/shirt and the lower part/pants).
