The maniacal mole is a monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2, it is a bodyguard of sorts for Don Mole.

A maniacal mole and two mischievous moles attack the hero when he tries to enter the Arena. The monster was available as a prize from online play, and cannot be obtained otherwise.
