The Titan belt, also known as the weightlifter's belt, is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series which first appeared in the Super Famicom version of Dragon Quest III. In its original appearance, it gave a boost to the wearer's Resilience, but in later games in the series, it increases the wearer's Attack instead.

Dragon Quest III

The weightlifter's belt has a resilience bonus of +15, changes the wearer's personality to Tough cookie, and can be equipped by all vocations. However, like all accessories that boost Resilience, it will only affect the wearer's growth rates when leveling up as the extra Resilience is not calculated to the wearer's max HP.

In the Super Famicom and Game Boy Color versions of the game, the weightlifter's belt can be found in the third Treasures n' Trapdoors track near the Castle of the Dragon Queen and the Shrine of Shackles and another in the final track at Jipang. Starting with the smartphone version of the game, the belt is received as a reward for turning in 45 mini medals to the collector in Aliahan.

Dragon Quest VIII

The titan belt has an attack bonus of +10 and can be equipped by all characters. They can be purchased at the Casino in Pickham by exchanging 1,500 tokens. One can be found in a treasure chest requiring the Magic Key on the world map near Arcadia. Titan belts can be dropped by Cockateers, Golems, Icikillers, Jackal rippers, and Skeleton soldiers.

It can also be made in the Alchemy Pot by combining a Leather kilt with a Strength ring. The belt can be improved further by combining it with a strength ring to create a Mighty armlet, as well.

Dragon Quest X

The power belt was renamed into the power charm due to the addition of a waist equipment slot in Version 2.0 of the game. It has an attack bonus of +5 and a style bonus of +4. With accessory synthesis, the attack bonus can be increased and it can gain a small boost to max HP, as well.
