The '''Prayer ring''' is a recurring accessory in the {{DQSeries}} which was first introduced in {{DQ2}}. It's designed to recharge {{MP}} on use, but has a 33.3% risk of breaking. It is a tiny gold band with a cloudy blue pearl fixed on it.

The Prayer ring once again has a {{Defence}} bonus of +5, can be equipped by all characters, and restores 20~30 {{MP}} when used. They can be purchased from the item peddler in [[Argonia]] for 9,000 [[gold]] coins, but he disappears after [[Dhoulmagus]] has been defeated, and they can be sold for 1,500 gold coins. At [[Baccarat]]'s [[Casino]], prayer rings can be purchased for 1,000 tokens each. They can be dropped rarely by [[Goodybag]]s and [[High roller]]s. A ring can be found in a treasure chest on the world map shortly after leaving the [[Desert Chapel]] while another can be found in the center of the continent close to Argonia. One can be found in the barrels at the [[Black Citadel]].

The prayer ring slowly regenerates the wearer's {{MP}} over time. Once it has been fully upgraded, it will also grant a +11 bonus to the wearer's max {{MP}}. The ring can be dropped by [[Cloud surfer]]s.
