The priest has a rare chance of dropping a Heart, allowing a party member to become a Black Bishop by taking the heart to the [[Alltrades Abbey (Dragon Quest VII)|Alltrades Abbey]].

Their '''Oomph''' spell alone is strong enough to give opponents a hard time, boosting the attack of any monster that they choose, including themselves. Their massive staves not only as a lightning rod to call down a strike against their enemies, but also to be thrown like a boomerang that teleports immediately back to their hands after a successful strike.
