The Wax murderer is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.

Characteristics

Wandering wispy monsters that wield and wave a massive sharp knife for slashing at prey, using the lit wick on the top of their horrific waxy heads to fling Frizz fire magic. They usually creep up on unsuspecting travelers exploring haunted manors, monstrously leaping and lunging out of the dark.
