In the original Famicom and NES versions of the game, it is possible to acquire multiple flowing dresses with a glitch, but the ability to do so was removed starting with the Super Famicom version.
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit]
Although the Celestial skein does not appear in the game, Torneko Taloon will mention that the Flowing dress is spun on a holy loom with threads of rain and dew if he appraises the robe.
