| The event begins with the Hero, Nina, Goopy, and Roly at "a tavern somehwere," resting after an adventure. Here, they are suddenly approached by a woman who is fascinated with Roly. She introduces herself as '''Sela''', a traveling merchant who is interested in guardian stones, and wants to employ the Hero's assistance in gathering them. Sela informs the party that these stones can be found in nearby ruins, but can't gather them herself because of the mechanized monsters that populate it.
