The bastard sword has an attack bonus of +105. It can be bought in Rimuldar for 31,000 gold and sold for 23,250 gold. The Hero and Warriors can equip it. If the Hero is able to kill Baramos by themselves, then the King of Aliahan will give them a bastard sword as a reward for the achievement.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past

The bastard sword has an attack bonus of +109 and a style bonus of +32. It can be bought for 31,000 gold and sold for 15,500 gold. The Hero and Aishe can equip it.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
