Pterygotus, also known as RedSting is a monster in the Dragon Quest Series. It is basically a Red Scorpion.

The RedSting can be found in the Mardra region in the past, the Basin Cave, and the Lefa Fane in the past. It is also one of the possible forms that a WonderEgg will become when hatched.
