Fire is the name of two distinct abilities in the Dragon Quest series.
- Fire (breath) (ほのお, Honō): In the original three games, the in-game text always described an enemy as breathing out fire regardless of its strength. Starting with remake versions, each fire breath was named to reflect how much damage it inflicted.
