Characteristics
Though identical in appearance to the iconic slime, Hammer is distinguised by his competitive demeanour, being described by other characters as a ruthless fighting machine. Despite this, he shows respect to those able to best him in combat.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
Exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS Version of the game, Hammer appears as the boss of the DLC Tablet The Test of Slime. Along with Robbin' 'Ood and the second version of Putric Stinkenheimer, Hammer cannot be tamed and thus only encountered in the tablet. Defeating him the first time results in being rewarded with the Slime crown.
