"I sense that you are something of a daydreamer…
You are kind to others, and this kindness is effortless and heartfelt, making it easy for others to grow fond of you…
However, you tend to suppress your own thoughts and feelings in your quest to be liked…
And you are perhaps guilty of daydreaming more than you should, making you less active than you might otherwise be…
You must focus on believing in yourself more… On carving out your own path…"

In the Dragon Quest III remakes, daydreamer is a personality that improves agility and wisdom growth, but reduces strength and resilience growth.
At the start of the game, the hero becomes a daydreamer by receiving the final test of character in the tower. The hero must leave the test by walking over the ledge, and not by taking the stairs.
Other party members have a chance to be a daydreamer when recruited as any class, depending on their stat bonuses.
An existing character becomes a daydreamer temporarily while wearing the gold rosary accessory.
