Dragon dung
Dragon dung is an item that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest VIII. These droppings left behind by dragons can be used in the Alchemy Pot as an ingredient for cheesemaking.

Dragon dung can be found in pots, barrels, and treasure chests in Arcadia, the Desert, the Dragon Graveyard, the Godbird's Eyrie, and the Altar of Wroth in the Nintendo 3DS version. In the postgame, dragon dung can be purchased from the Dragovian Sanctuary for 100 gold and it can be sold for 50 gold. It can be dropped by Hacksauruses, Freeze flies, Beelzebuzzes, Dragurns, and Bobongas. The dung can be used to make two different types of cheese in the Alchemy Pot:
