Katox can be learned when a Mage invests 35 points into the knives skilltree. It costs 6 MP, has a casting time of three seconds, and will infect a targeted monster and all others withing a 5 meter radius with a poison that deals 10 damage every 5 seconds.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark PrinceEdit
Katox costs 8 MP and has a base accuracy of 60%, rising to 80% at 3,999 wisdom. The spell attempts to poison all monster, dealing 1/16th of their max HP as damage and can be cast twice to deal 1/8th damage. It is learned through the Evil Genius, Mad Scientist, Toxicologist, and Vexologist talents.
