Keiji Honda

Keiji Honda (本多圭司, Honda Keiji, born December 29, 1957 in Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan) is the current executive vice president and representative director of Square Enix. He was the president and chief operating officer of Enix Corporation until the April 2003 merger with Square.

CareerEdit

Keiji Honda was originally an employee of Nomura Co., Ltd. in 1982 before joining Enix in 1987. By 1998, Honda had established himself as director and general manager of the company's software development division, becoming president and COO by 2000. When Square and Enix merged, Honda was named vice president and representative director at Square Enix. Later that year, he became executive vice president and director at Square Enix. Since 2006, his official title is executive vice president and representative director.
