Luceus (Akuto in Japanese), along with Aurora, is one of two main characters in Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below. He is the Captain of the Royal Guard of Arba.
DescriptionEdit
Luceus, a steadfast captain in King Doric's service, prides himself on his carefully laid out strategies and tactical battle maneuvers. His commitment to a systematic approach to combat is such that even his own allies tire of his incessant need to lay out a battle plan. He grew up in Arba with Aurora and Healix.
Luceus is a talented tactician with a flair for fast-paced fire attacks. His impressive speed and remarkable reach make him an asset in any battle. His Inferno Slash attack unleashes a searing cyclone that swallows up whole swathes of foes. Aim it at large groups of enemies!

Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's EndEdit
Luceus appears in Dragon Quest Heroes II as a recurring character that can be played as in co-op dungeons, but is unable to be used in the regular story mode. His moveset is mostly unchanged from the previous game, however Zoom was replaced with Bounce due to the former being repurposed for Wild Zone travesal. Additionally he is unable to equip any weapons or shields, being locked to the Captain's sword & Luceus's shield, though he can still equip Orbs and accessories. Having save data from the previous title grants Luceus' costume for the game's male protagonist.
